Afterword

Hello everyone, this is Kagami Yuu. Around the time I am writing this afterword, the world has been going through a lot of chaos, but I hope that everyone has something to look forward to nonetheless, and I would be very happy if this volume was one of these pleasures. As for my personal situation, I have moved together with the animals living in the forest, living off insects and the like.

This 7th volume told the story of the culture festival arc. It’s an event you cannot miss out on with a school series like this, right. I am very happy that I was allowed to continue this series until reaching this point. I was pondering on how to have Maka-sensei appear, but in the end I decided on a stage play. Although, a normal teacher wouldn’t participate in a play like this, a bit of fiction never hurt.

Since I never participated in an event like that, I kind of admire that. If anything, I was always asked to help out the various stalls, despite not being staff, so I can understand Saigi-kun’s position very much.

But, who cares about me (I suppose). I had this volume become the main event for Shiya-chan. A university girl heroine sure is nice…She’s a student, and yet feels like an Onee-san, I quite like that attribute. One day, I would love to write such a story in university, but for now, I had Shiya-chan enjoy herself. However, I see that there’s quite a lot of cosplaying around in this work. I wonder why.

To Monrin-sensei and Hoshigawa-sensei, thank you as always for the wonderful comicalization, with our cute Maka-sensei, and the other members of SID. The second volume released at the same time as this volume 7 of the light novel, so please check it out if you’d like!

Oryou-sensei, I know that providing illustrations for this series might be quite tough with all the various outfits you have to create, but you truly never disappoint. No matter your design, your illustrations are a treat for the eyes. Especially your illustration that just screams ‘My Maid Girlfriend’ is wonderful!

To my editor, and everybody involved in the production and the selling of these books, thank you very much.

And of course, my greatest thanks goes to my dear readers!

Spring 2020, Kagami Yuu
