Afterword
I had forgotten to write an afterword, so let me talk about something barely related to the main story. Do you remember the phrase ‘Thanks, thanks, Tasmanian devil!’ that appeared in this volume? This is actually not something I had come up with.
The main credit for this phrase belongs to Watari Wataru-sensei1, who had blurted that out after an all-nighter, and he went on to chant it over and over (with the Azuki Azusa’s voice), so I was forced to put it into the main novel myself. Watari Wataru-sensei, thank you very much. Azuki Azusa would never say something stupid like that. Hentikan Hentai! (This will be our greeting)
Hello everyone, it’s Sagara Sou.
I bring you the 9th installment of ‘Invigorating Prince and Stony Cat’. I am terribly sorry that it took me this long. In this volume, we deal with impressive resets. I was arguing with myself as to what the characters would think the ‘correct’ story would be, but as for myself, I am quite doubtful if such a ‘correct’ story really exists. Just like there is no way for us to decide on a ‘correct’ life, I am unsure if a correct story exists. The more I think about it, the crazier I get. The Cat God sure is cute, huh?
This being the case, I wonder if our characters can bring this story to a conclusion. What about that girl, that problem, how will they deal with all of it? Please, if you’re interested, I hope you stick around!
Now, the main idea of this series was to be a youthful comedy, but the next volume will be a change of pace, depicting a more pleasant and delightful story! At the same time, the shogi manga ‘Koma Hibiki’ that Murasaki Yukiya-sensei and I are responsible for currently has volume 2 on sale. Minadori Naya-sensei is providing us with wonderful illustrations, so please check it out if you’re interested!
I still cannot remember how to properly write an afterword, so I will just move on to my thanks.
Kantoku-sensei, I am terribly sorry that I always ask the impossible of you. You always greatly overcome anything I could have possibly asked for. As a fellow creator, I have great respect for you. To me, you are a true god, so why don’t we go ahead and build a shrine for you already?
Next I would like to thank Okomeken-sensei and Yamada-sensei, who are responsible for the comicalization of this series. I am always ecstatic to see the new chapters.
