Prologue

The greatest event in one’s high school career. Without a doubt, we’re talking about the culture festival. At the Seikadai Academy I attend, the middle school division and high school division hold a culture festival. For some reason, at the Seikadai University, they refer to it as the ‘campus festival’. What kind of pickiness is this? I feel oddly interested in this mystery, but that’s not important right now.

The culture festival at the high school division is basically being referred to as an ‘exhibition’, making it sound awfully boring. Investigating and presenting the various local historical events, or some free anthology canvases. Any sorts of shops or events are prohibited, as this is something like prolonged classes. Once you make it through those three years of the middle school division, and finally start attending the high school division, the students finally get to show their energy in whatever event the class comes up with.

Of course, the students of this very Class 3A are no exception. Especially a certain female student…

“Now, it’s finally time for the culture festival! You folks, we have to move and prepare!”

“Nui, I know that you have been looking forward to the culture festival, but how about you look at the reality in front of you first of all.”

“A gravure idol lives in 2.5D, so we don’t have to worry about the 3D world!”

“Isn’t 2.5D the case for voice actors…?”

Classes came to an end for the day, but the classroom was just as noisy as before. Just now, the results of the 2nd midterm’s exams had been announced. At Seikadai Academy, every time results get announced like this, they would hang up the grades of the individual students on paper. Because of the small size of the paper, the classroom was in chaos.

Nui might be seeming like she’s energetic about this, but her eyes are actually dead. Amanashi Nui is a classmate of mine, a second year at this very academy. She has red, semi-long hair, possessing the school’s best bust, which has enough force to almost make her blouse burst open.

Ever since the month passed on to October, our uniform changed into the winter version, but Nui is still not wearing that blazer. Apparently, her chest makes it hard to wear that. She’s got the looks, but talking about the brains…

“Nui, show me your grades. Hmm…since you were trying to run away from reality like that, I thought they’d gotten considerably worse, but they’ve only gone down by a bit.”

“B-But, they got worse, so…Even if you were to insult me as a failure of a human being, and even if you were to slap my breasts with full force, I shall not complain. Come forth, I have prepared myself.”

“Are you watching too many periodic dramas as of late? They did drop, but it’s only about ten points, so that can happen depending on the questions and all that.”

“Y-You’re not angry?”

“For starters, how about you get down on your knees?”

“You’re totally angry at me!”

Seems like Nui can’t take a joke that easily. Her personality is too honest, she takes everything as the truth.

“The midterms this time were a bit difficult. I’m sure that some people might have dropped a bit in grades.”

“Ah, so you too, Sai-kun?!” Nui’s eyes were sparkling.

So she’s looking for other people that suffer the same fate as her? But…

“Thanks to that, I managed to get into the top 50.”

“The heck is that about?!” Nui stole the result sheet from my hands. “Gaahh…You’re serious! Sai-kun’s actually in the top 50…!”

She screamed it in a loud voice for everyone to hear, but since placards in the hallway use the people in the top 50 anyways, they would have found out eventually.

“That Saigi, he’s on the placard…?”

“Impossible, he got corrected by Maka-sensei, and even raised his grades to such a level? Is there no end to his greed?”

“If he wasn’t Saiko-chan, I wouldn’t have let him go home alive.”

“……”

My life is being threatened. Not to mention that the entire mess from the sports festival is the deciding factor of me surviving. Saiko-chan…rest in peace.

“Dang…this can’t be…Ah, you should be on the placard outside then! Let’s go check it right away!”

“There’s no need to check it…Wah!”

Nui grabbed my hand, as we started walking. At a glance, I could see Kisou Tenka-san. With brown twintails, she had the height of a grade school student at worst. Yet, her chest was big enough to rival the active gravure model Nui. This unbalance made her fairly popular with the other boys.

‘You’re being led around by other girls as usual. Not declining any girl that comes your way.’

…Or so I heard the voice of Tenka-san inside my head. After that, Nui pulled me down to the main building’s first floor. People had gathered all around there, but Nui forcefully pushed her way through.

“Woah, you’re actually in the top 50…That’s weird, did my contact lenses fall out?”

“That’s the first time I’ve heard of you having bad eyes. Really, just for this, you…Hm?”

I felt someone tapping me on the shoulder, so I turned around, and was greeted by Miharu. Being my little sister, she is in her first year at this school. She had her black hair in a ponytail, possessing a cute face, but a sleepy gaze, mostly flat around her chest. Beneath her blazer, she wore her trademark hoodie. She was carrying a stack of paper in her hands.

“It’s rare to see you at a place like this, Miharu. What brings you—”

“Hehe.”

Before I could finish my sentence, Miharu giggled. What for? I thought, but quickly realized. In a rush, I turned around and took a look at the placard. Shown there were the top 50 students for the respective three student years. The top spot of the 3rd year was Jinsho Karen, and on the 9th spot of the 2nd year I spotted Kisou Tenka. However, what shocked me the most was the top spot of the 1st year—Saigi Miharu.

“What?! Miharun?!”

“You’re more surprised than her actual older brother, Nui!”

Nui had caught on to it herself, screaming before I was given the chance to say anything.

“Look, look, Onii-chan. With this, Miharu will get more money for her allowance, right?”

“We never made a promise like that…”

After using all of her older brother’s money for her mobile game addiction, she still wants more? Then again, she did manage to score the top spot for the first-years…At the student council president election a while ago, she announced that she would do exactly that. Although she didn’t win the election in the end, she properly fulfilled her promise.

“You really are amazing, Miharu. Good job.”

“Wah.”

When I gently rubbed my hand on Miharu’s head, her body twitched, and she let her head hang low as if she was embarrassed.

“How many years has it been since Onii-chan praised Miharu like this…”

“Because you weren’t even trying. Ah, let’s take a picture of this and send it to our parents.”

“Ehhh, you don’t have to go that far…”

“No, this is seriously amazing.”

The midterms were right after the election, so she shouldn’t have had much time to study. Yet, she took the top spot…Even though she only had relatively normal grades this far…If I send a picture of this to our parents, they’d definitely get happy, knowing that they were always prioritizing her.

“Miharun, congrats! Ah, why not send it to Shiya-paisen as well? I’m sure she’d like to know how you did!”

“Ahh, that’s right.”

Answering Nui who was busy clinging to my little sister in joy, I went and took a picture. From there, I sent the picture to our parents and Shiya-chan over LINE.

“Ah, Mako. I don’t need it. I’ll go take a pic myself.”

“Really? Then I’ll go ahead and send it only to our—Wait, Shiya-chan?!”

“Heyho, Mako. Not to mention Haru and Manasshi as well.”

The one waving her hand at us was the childhood friend Onee-san of mine—Keimi Shiya-chan. With her long, chestnut-colored hair, she had the perfect amount of makeup on her face. Naturally, her fang being her charming point was still present. She swore a thin cut sew cardigan, paired with a long skirt. In the midst of all these students, she stood out like a sore thumb.

“Shiya-chan, why are you here?”

As it turns out, this Onee-san is actually a second-year student at Seikadai’s University. She graduated from this very high school, but for some reason she came back here again. For now, we’ll turn into a bother to all the other onlookers, so we moved to the corner of the hallway. Nui found other friends of hers, so we left her behind.

“I have some business here, okay. On top of that, I thought they’d hang up the results of the exams soon, and you actually managed to score the top spot, Haru.”

“Hehe~”

Shiya-chan equally rubbed Miharu’s head. She looked happier than when I did it. Well, Shiya-chan is like an actual older sister to the two of us.

“So then…Mako, you did a good job as well! I knew you could do it!”

“Wah, Shiya-chan…”

Shiya-chan hugged me with no hesitation whatsoever, allowing me to feel her unexpectedly large breasts on my chest, and the sweet scent is!

“As your private tutor, I can feel proud about this! Now I can report back to your parents as well!”

“Y-Yeah. It’s all because you taught me…Hm?”

What is this…I can feel some dark, ominous aura tickling my back! As I carefully turned around…

“Saigi-kun, it seems like you’ve been properly studying this time.”

Long, brown hair, a slim pink overwear above her cutsew, as well as a knee-length skirt. It was the boastful Unobtainable Flower of Seikadai’s High School Division, Fujiki Maka-sensei. And to me, she equally is my ‘Girlfriend Teacher’. This very girlfriend teacher was smiling. Of course she would. A problem child of her class made it into the top 50 of the student year. However, I realized. She had one of those anger marks you’d see in manga on her face.

“Ahh, Maka-sama…Wait no, Fujiki-sensei! Hello!”

“Keimi-san. I won’t tell you to not enter the high school division, but aren’t those clothes going a bit too far?”

“Haaa, Maka-sama is as beautiful as always…”

This very Onee-san isn’t listening at all. In fact, she colored her hair to make it look like Maka-sensei’s. Though the color is a bit different.

“It seems like I can’t relax even against thisJK…And Saigi-kun shows no signs of pushing her away either.”

“U-Um, Shiya-chan! What kind of business did you have!”

Since Maka-sensei’s mood started to get worse and worse, I quickly changed the topic.

“Ahh, preparations for the culture festival are going to start soon, right? I happened to get involved a bit.”

“Oh right, weren’t there a few university students who came to visit…”

Were there actually a few people at the university involved in the management?

“That reminds me, Miharu heard that people from the university are going to join the meeting for the culture festival. So that was Shii-chan.”

“Today I’m not here as your Onee-san, but rather as a Senpai from University. I won’t spoil you as much today, Haru.”

“Miharu doesn’t care if she’s dealing with a Senpai or a teacher.”

Ahh, that last part wasn’t necessary, Miharu. The anger mark on Maka-sensei’s head started twitching even more furiously. As a side note, although she wasn’t elected as student council president, she was actually chosen as the vice president instead. Naturally, the student council would be involved in the culture festival. I guess she’ll be busy for a while.

“I see, that’s what the documents you’re holding are for, Miharu.”

“That’s right, want to take a look?”

“Can I? I’m not part of the student council.”

“The student council doesn’t have any secrets.”

That reminds me, the previous student council president said something similar like that. I took the documents, and took a look. They were documents stating the plans for the culture festival. Not to mention they kept it in great detail.

“Ah!”

“Eh? W-What is it, Shiya-chan?”

Shiya-chan took a peek at the documents from behind me, only to suddenly let out a loud voice.

“…No, it’s nothing. I’ll go on ahead.”

“Okay…?”

Shiya-chan walked away from us, her shoulders hanging for some reason.

“…What happened to her?”

“Who knows. Maybe there’s a part of the plan she doesn’t like?”

Age-wise, Shiya-chan is already an adult, but she has a few weak spots to her.

“…I feel like this is the pattern where Saigi-kun will meddle with another girl’s problems again.”

“………”

Maka-sensei muttered, as a dark, grumbling aura emitted from her once more. But, I feel like that premonition of hers might be spot-on. It’s me we’re talking about after all.
