Hello there, thank you very much for picking up [Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai – Examples of the Extraordinary]!

Since the events in the main story are mostly set in stone, I can barely put any extreme developments like these (Huh? Maybe I actually am?!) there, so I was always wondering what a fantasy setting would be like, and it was very interesting to read!

Normally, I’m always drawing the rough sketches and manuscript for the manga by hand, but this time around, I challenged the illustrations digitally, which was very enjoyable! I’d say we go for a second round of this, shall we? (lol)

Hello, Hamubane here.

This time around, I was responsible for the text of the [Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai – Examples of the Extraordinary] novel.

I’ve been a faithful Weekly Shounen Jump reader for around twenty years now, but I would have never imagined to actually be involved with them one day like this…You really never know what’s going to happen in life.

Of course, I have been actively following the [Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai] series ever since it’s serialization, allowing me to get a weekly dose of cute illustrations, funny exchanges, making me fall in love with the series. And now, being able to write a novelized version of this series I adore, I couldn’t be happier.

Tsuitsui Taishi-sensei, thank you very much for coming to check the contents of this novel during your busy day, and even providing me with these wonderful illustrations. On top of that, I want to thank my editor R-sama, and everyone else who was involved with the creation of this book, as well as everyone that assisted me in publishing and distributing it. Naturally, that same thanks goes out to all my dear readers that decided to pick up this book.
