“Let’s go on a training camp! How about it?”
Everything began with Uruka’s words. What she wanted to hold was a so-called ‘Study Camp’. Apparently, she won a trip to an inn for five people, thanks to a lottery at the business district.
“It’ll be a great change of pace, right?” Uruka sounded totally up for it.
“I see, that does make sense.” Rizu’s expression seemed cold, but internally she was probably excited all the same, and agreed with Uruka.
“Aren’t you all a bit too excited? Then again, I don’t dislike the idea of a camp.” Asumi gave a warning, but agreed in the end.
Nariyuki and Fumino themselves had no objection, and agreed to participate. So far, there were no problems involved. A study camp was something everyone appreciated. Studying in a different environment than usual would surely be of great influence. However, Nariyuki and Fumino both had a bad premonition about this flow of events. In particular…

Uruka and Rizu turned towards the two, and asked.
““No, nothing at all!””
Both Nariyuki and Fumino frantically shook their heads.
“Let’s hurry on inside. We’re wasting time here.” Asumi clapped her hands, and stepped through the door of the inn.
“Welcome!” The employees inside all raised their heads, and greeted the group at the same time.
Nariyuki didn’t spot any familiar face from before, leaving him relieved.
“Hello, we have a reservation for five people, on the name Yuiga!” Uruka stepped in front of the group, acting as representative.
“Yuiga-sama, we’ve been awaiting your arrival. Could you be so kind as to fill out the papers here?”
The employee at the reception showed no problems either. However…
“…Why did you use my name for the reservation?” Nariyuki felt dubious because of that exchange just now, and asked Uruka.
As a result of that, Uruka’s shoulders twitched in shock.
“W-Well, I mean…Just as practice—Ah, nevermind! I just felt like it! That happens, right!?”
“R-Really…? I’ve never experienced that…” Nariyuki didn’t really understand what the blushing Uruka was talking about, but nodded along nonetheless.
“You’re a real maiden, Uruka-chan…” Fumino threw in a comment with a wry smile.
“…? Furuhashi, did you say something?” Nariyuki wanted to ask, however…
“Oh…?”
He heard a more distant voice.
“Dear customer, we previously had a pair of siblings stay over at our inn…With the name of Yuiga-san.”
Nariyuki turned towards the source, and spotted the same employee that had been there during their previous visit.
“Right now, you called your older sister with a different family name, right…?” She tilted her head.
“M-Man, I’m looking forward to staying here again, Fumino-neechan!”
“R-Right, Nariyuki-kun!”
The two acted along, albeit awkwardly.
“Ah, so it was just my imagination.”
The two sighed in relief at the employee’s words…however, that only lasted for a second.
“Fumino…”
“…nee-chan?”
Uruka and Rizu stared at the two, with doubtful eyes.
“Ah, well, you know…”
“You’re wrong, Uruka-chan, Ricchan…”
Both of them flailed about their arms, but the other two just pushed their bodies forward.
“Fuminocchi, is that the ‘Siblings roleplay’ you were talking about before?”
“I’ll be joining you as well this time!”
Both their eyes were sparkling.
“Am I the weird one for sensing that something is off…?” Asumi narrowed her eyes with a dubious gaze.
“Come on, Nariyuki, call me ‘Uruka-neechan’, okay?”
Since Uruka was pushing in on Nariyuki even further, he had no choice but to comply.
“U-Uruka…neechan…” He swallowed the shame, and spoke up.
“Gah…!” As a result, Uruka held her chest, letting out a groan. “Haa…Huff…That was better than expected…! Is this what they call a forbidden relationship…? I feel like my nose is going to bleed…” She muttered to herself.
“H-Hey, Uruka, you okay…?”
“It’s Uruka-neechan, remember!”
“Ah, right…Uruka-neechan…”
Nariyuki had called out to Uruka in worry, only to be reprimanded like that.
“Nariyuki-san! Me too! …No, please call me ‘Rizu-oneechan’!” Next was Rizu with her own request.
“Rizu…oneechan.” Nariyuki had lost his initial resistance, and did as he was told.
“Ohhh…! This is quite good indeed…!” Rizu’s expression was filled with satisfaction.
“Then, can you call me ‘Asumi-nee’ as well?” Asumi got swept along the mood, and walked towards Nariyuki with a grin.
“Yes yes, I got it, Asumi-nee.” Nariyuki figured that it would come to this, so he didn’t even hesitate.
“Hehe, not bad, not bad.” Asumi seemed content.
“Oh my, you have a lot of older sisters, I see~”
“H-Haha, yeah…”
The employee in question showed a heartfelt smile, but Nariyuki could only return a void laugh.

Nariyuki already felt exhausted at the check-in, but at least things proceeded smoothly.
“Alright, let’s leave it at that for today.”
“That went better than expected~”
“I knew the environment did a lot. Nice idea, me!”
“We do have to thank Uruka-san for this.”

They achieved some great results after their study session in the room of the inn, and by the time evening came around, they were left satisfied.
“Oh no, I just happened to win the lottery ticket…” Receiving Rizu and Asumi’s gratitude, Uruka showed a bashful smile., as she scratched the back of her head. “More importantly, let’s go take a bath! They have a hot spring here!” Possibly to hide her embarrassment, Uruka opened her arms, and came up with this idea.
“Yeah…………Hm?”
Right as Nariyuki wanted to agree, he realized that something was going on outside the room.
“The other reservation has come in!”
“I’m preparing dinner right now, but will we make it in time!?”
“Not happening!”
“We haven’t even prepared the room yet!”
Nariyuki heard running and screaming outside the room.
“Um…Is something wrong?”
He poked his head outside the paper sliding screen, and asked the employee—the one that had served Nariyuki and Fumino before—as she passed by the room.
“Ah, I’m sorry for making this much noise. A lot of reserves arrived at the same time, but we’re struggling to keep up because several of our colleagues ended up sick…” said the employee with a regrettable tone in her voice. “Can’t there be some energetic and lively youngsters…” Her gaze went inside the room, emitting a certain level of ‘pressure’. “I really feel like being skilled in the kitchen and at dealing with customers would be a great appeal of femininity…”
Twitch, Uruka and Fumino showed a reaction towards these words.
“I-I can show off my femininity to Nariyuki…!?”
“If it’s dealing with customers then…O-Of course, it’s not like I want to show off to anybody though…!”
A mysterious flame burned up in their eyes.
“Is it time for Ogata Udon to debut in the hotel business…!”
“Maybe I can get some money from working here…?”
Rizu started calculating something, and Asumi grinned devilishly.
D-Did this person actually see through the personalities of them all…!?
Hospitality is a terrifying thing, Nariyuki thought.
“We would be willing to give out tickets for a free stay at this inn to those who help us, but…”
The next one to react to these words was none other than Nariyuki himself.
If I had that, I could bring Mom and the others here…!
Nariyuki turned towards the others inside the room, to which the others nodded strongly.
“Ah, I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be holding you up like this, dear customer.” She put one hand on her mouth, letting out a ‘Hohoho’ smile, and was about to walk away.
“““““Wait a moment!”””””
The others called out to her, to which she turned around. For a split second, Nariyuki felt like he saw an evil grin on her face.

A bit of time passed…
“The tempura is done! Finished adding the vegetables as well!”
“Got it, Lady!”
“You’re a big help!”
The other employees in the kitchen gave their thanks to Uruka, who wore a white apron.
“Lady, can you cut this!?”
“Yes!”
“Lady, can you make the grilled food?”
“Leave it to me!”
“What about the vegetables!?”
“On it!”
Originally she was only supposed to help out where possible, but in the end she herself took care of the most cooking procedure. At the same time…
“Ten portions of tempura udon, seaweed udon twelve times, fox udon eight times, all done!”

Both Uruka and Rizu called out to him.
“Got it, I’ll carry it there.”
Nariyuki apparently had no role to play in the kitchen, so he was tasked to deliver the food to the rooms.

Nariyuki threw one last glance inside the kitchen, and then left the room.
And then, at the dinner hall.
“Two beers, I see. To that, three times orange juice. Yes? Only two times orange juice and one coke? Understood. No crown daisies for you? Very well, I will inform the kitchen. On a side note, today’s udon is made by Ogata Udon, so please give them a visit if you have the time.”
Fumino accepted the various orders and requests. Seeing that she wasn’t writing anything down, she probably used her excessive memory to keep the orders.
“Waaaaaaah, this place is boring!”
“Oh my, would you like to talk with me for a second then?”
At times, she talked to a crying child.
“A long time ago, there was an older man, and an older lady. The older lady went to hunt sharks in the ocean, and the older man went to ‘clean up’ the mountains from the ones causing trouble…”
The child had stopped crying mid-way through Fumino’s story. She could use her talent even in this context.
Then, at the dinner hall again.
“Alrighty, I brought some more food~!” Asumi carried the plates with food, not wearing her usual maid uniform but a proper kimono, but kept her usual mode when serving customers.
Because of this overflowing cuteness, she received positive affection not only from the men, but also the female guests.
“Lady, how about you share some drinks with me?”
However, there were also those customers that were a bit tipsy, overstepping the boundaries.
“Sorry, but a fairy disappears once they get caught!”
“Haha, really now. Can’t help it!”
“However, if you come to the maid cafe ‘High Stage’, Ashumi will give you lots of attention~”
“Alright, I’ll check it out!”
Thanks to Asumi’s gentle words and wink, the customer ended up in an even better mood than before. She must be used to dealing with a bit more troublesome customers like them.

This time Nariyuki could help himself, as they needed a man’s strength to carry the luggage.
“Alright, onto the next one…”
He finished one request, and headed to the entrance to take care of the next guest.
“Fir—Wah!?” His voice changed mid-way, as he hid in the shadows.
“Pleasant sight! This is the first time the two of us will be staying over at an inn like this, Nee-sama!”
“Right…Fortune. To think we would win two lottery tickets for a trip like this.”
As it turns out, these two new customers were the familiar Kirisu sisters.
I-I need to greet the other customers!
However, there were no other customers around, so Nariyuki could only deal with the sisters.
I need to hide my face…Ah, this will do!
Nariyuki looked around him, grabbed the next next object, and put it on his head.
“W-Welcome! This is Inn Asuma!” He stepped in front of the two.
“Eeek!? Bizarre!”
“…Surprise.”
Miharu let out a shriek, and even Mafuyu’s expression twitched. Of course, they could not be blamed for this.
M-Maybe putting on a tengu1 mask was the wrong idea…!?
It was probably because of the mask on Nariyuki’s face.
Thinking about it, there’s no real reason to hide, right? If I just explain the situation to them…
It might be a bit late to think about that, and as a matter of fact, the damage had already been done.
“Quite the pleasant greeting this is.”
“I-I see! So they’re keeping it in concept here!”
Apparently, the two assumed that Nariyuki was wearing the regular uniform of the inn, so he missed the timing to actually take off the mask.
“T-That’s Onee-sama for you! You already saw through everything! I am impressed!”
“I-It’s not that big of a deal…”
Receiving a gaze of admiration from Miharu, Mafuyu returned an awkward expression plus response. Her legs were still shaking ever so slightly because of the previous initial shock.
“I’ll be carrying your luggage then!” Nariyuki decided to ignore that, and offered his hands towards the two.
“Yes, please do.”
After she had taken off her shoes, Miharu handed Nariyuki her travel bag, and went inside.
“…Question.” At the same time, Mafuyu narrowed one eyebrow as she looked at Nariyuki. “Have we met somewhere before? Your voice sounds oddly familiar…”
Hearing this, Nariyuki’s face froze up beneath the mask.
“I-It’s most likely just your imagination, don’t you think?” He tried to keep a deeper voice, in order to convince Mafuyu.
“…I see.” She still didn’t seem too sure, but at least didn’t pressure him anymore. “Apology. Please forget what I said.” She offered Nariyuki her own travel bag.
These bags sure are full to the brim…
A bad premonition struck Nariyuki. Bang! With a loud sound like that, the bag exploded…not literally, as the zipper flew off. The insides were stuffed to the maximum that the bag couldn’t handle the pressure. As a result, underwear, clothes, water bottles, and other necessities all flew across the room.
I should have guessed that she didn’t organize her bag at all! I can’t have Miharu-san see this!
Miharu still assumed that Mafuyu was a perfect and flawless human being. Nariyuki didn’t want that assumption to shatter.
“…? Did I just hear a weird sound…?”
“Ahh! A dog police officer is shooting a lost kitty!”
“Did we enter a different world or something!?”
Nariyuki pointed as far away from the bag as possible, in order to avert Miharu’s attention.
Now’s my chance!
He used this moment to recover everything, and stuff it back inside the bag, together with him repairing the zipper to the best of his ability.
“I can’t see them…”
“Apologies, I must have seen things.”
Miharu turned around again, but Nariyuki was already done.
“Now then, let me guide you to your room!”
He rushed a bit, so that no further trouble could happen.
“This skilled movement…it feels so familiar…” Because of Mafuyu’s words, Nariyuki twitched again. “…Inn employees must have it rough.” However, she seemed satisfied enough.
Thanks to you, I’m used to this, yes…
A wry smile built beneath Nariyuki’s mask.
“This will be your room, dear guests.”
He decided to drop the topic, and guide them to their rooms.
“Gratitude. Thanks for taking us here.”
“Thank you very much! Now, Nee-sama! Let us change our clothes and enjoy the hot spring! I was really looking forward to this, see!”
Mafuyu gave a calm thanks, as Miharu ran inside the room.
“…Phew.” Nariyuki sighed in relief, as he finished his business.
Then.
“Hey, did you find it?”
“No can do!”
“Maybe it got mixed up somewhere!”
Troubled employees were running down the hallway.
“Um, did something happen?”
“Wah, a tengu!? …Ah, it’s just you, Yuiga-kun.”
The male employee jumped in shock, but quickly calmed down again.
“The thing is, we’re looking for some clothes, fearing that they might have mixed up with the bath wear of the customers. If you see anything, could you exchange it with the usual bath wear?”
“Ah, sure.” Nariykuki nodded, to which the man ran away.
Are these clothes that troublesome…?
He asked himself, as he was about to walk away.
“Admiration. To think they would use this instead of a yukata.”
“You can really feel the creativity!”
However, since he heard these dubious voices through the gap of the door behind him, Nariyuki turned around, assaulted by a bad premonition.
“I don’t think this really fits with the aesthetic of this inn…”
“They’re probably aiming for the famous gap!”
Nariyuki was greeted by two cheerleaders, making his brain freeze in shock.
…………Eh? Are these the clothes they were looking for!? And they think that they’re wearing yukata!? I can’t just tell them they’re wrong like that!
Nariyuki’s head went into overdrive.
“Not to mention that everyone else is wearing normal yukata except us…”

Miharu seemed to be enjoying herself, as Mafuyu was blushing ever so slightly. They even carried pom-poms in their hands.
I guess they’d both be happier if I keep this a misunderstanding…
Nariyuki decided to ignore this scenery, and left this place.
At the very least, he finished dealing with the Kirisu sisters.
“Phew…I can finally take off the mask now…”
Walking down the hallway, Nariyuki was about to take off his mask, when…
“Now I came here again…These memories that were supposed to stay locked away, coming back…My grudge towards Yuiga…I can’t contain it…”

Nariyuki spotted a familiar face walking between he assumed to be her parents, and hid himself.
Oh right, he came here before, didn’t hee…Is he a regular…?
Nariyuki remembered the last time he came here with Fumino, and held his head.
If she finds out that I’m staying here with the others, I won’t hear the end of it…)

“Welcome!”
He kept on his tengu mask, and welcomed the guests.
After that as well.
“Haruma-kun, the hot springs here seem great!”
“Really? I’m looking forward to it, Chinami-chan.”
Kobayashi and Umihara!? You two came here alone…No, don’t think about it! I have to deal with the guests for now! …Aren’t you two clinging a bit too much!?
“So this is the place Princess Furuhashi stayed at with her prince~”
“It seems great.”
“Thankfully the costs aren’t too great.”

Because familiar faces kept creeping out of every corner Nariyuki turned, he had to come talk to the customers with his mask on. Surprisingly enough, the children absolutely loved it, and the employees saw this as a new business idea.
Like this, a few hours passed.
“Great work everyone!”
After every piece of work was done, all employees came together with a smile.
“Thank you very much. Without all of your help, we wouldn’t have made it…” The proprietress of Inn Asuma personally lowered her head towards Nariyuki and the others.
“No no no, it was a great change of pace for us!”
Following Nariyuki’s initial statement, the others nodded along.
“As a thank you, we will offer you the greatest food at our disposal!” The proprietress said with a smile.
Following that…
“Wah, this sashimi is delicious!”
“Hmm…Maybe I could use this soup for my udon…”
A bit later than expected, they were enjoying a luxurious dinner.
“Phew…this hot spring is great…Taking a bath with Senpai sure is calming…”
“Furuhashi…I get where you’re coming from, but don’t say that in front of the person…”
At the hot bath, Fumino and Asumi enjoyed the hot spring.
“Woaaah!? This massage…This level of talent is something I can only dream off…That’ll be a great reference…!” Nariyuki had his body massaged thoroughly.
After they each enjoyed their own paradise, they returned to the same guest room.
“I have left your futons in your room. I wish you a good rest.”

The female employee returned Nariyuki’s thanks with another thanks. As a matter of fact, this employee was the one who had been present to Nariyuki and Fumino’s last visit.

“I’m sure they were working even harder than us…” Uruka said with a yawn.
“I’m pretty worn out…” Rizu took off her glasses, looking like she was about to fall asleep.
“I learned a lot from them.” Asumi yawned, and snuggled inside her futon.
“So then, good night everyone…” Nariyuki barely could keep his eyes open, as he collapsed onto the futon.
“Night…”
“Good night…”
“Have a good sleep everyone…”
“Good work today…”
They each said a few last words, and quickly after silence reigned. A few seconds of silence passed.
“Good night my ass!” Nariyuki leaped up. “Why am I sleeping in the same room!?” He threw in this retort, albeit belated.
The only reason he ignored it this far is because of his exhaustion and sleepiness, which stopped his brain from working.
“So noisy, Nariyuki…”
“We became siblings again, right? It was the same before…”
“That’s right…Sleeping in the same room…is not our first time…”
“I feel like there’s some things in there that I can’t ignore, but I’ll let it slip just for today…”
Uruka, Fumino, Rizu, and Asumi all gave their comment, leaving Nariyuki speechless.
“…Right.” He got back to his futon. “Then, good night…” He said, and fell asleep shortly after.

The following morning.
“Well, you know, what happened yesterday…was an accident, right…”
“A-Ahaha! It’s a training camp, so we shouldn’t worry about the small stuff!”
“R-Right! We just fell asleep, and nothing happened!”
In front of the entrance door of the inn, Nariyuki, Uruka, and Fumino all showed awkward expressions.
“Everyone, what happened? We merely slept in the same room, right?” At the same time, Rizu seemed confused and lost.
“He he he, that’s right. You stayed over at my home as well, didn’t you.” Asumi showed a teasing smile, and continued. “More than that, we even slept in the same bed…”
“Wah, Senpai! Shhh…!”
“Nariyuki-kun?”
Nariyuki frantically covered up Asumi’s mouth, only to have his hands grabbed by Fumino, emitting fearful amounts of pressure.
“Were you raising flags without me around again?”
“That reminds me, I heard Rizu talking about something similar…”
“Senpai, that way of phrasing things clearly invites misunderstandings!”
“Really? I was speaking only the truth.”
“You be quiet for a second, Ogata!”
“Nariyuki, what am I hearing right now…?”
“Uruka!? Why are you about to cry?”
“Nariyuki-kun…can we talk for a moment?”
“Y-Yes, Teacher…!”
A bit further away from there.
“Yuiga, you bastard…! What kind of harem is that!? I’m so jealous…!” Oomori was watching them from a distance, complaining. “…Ah!? What was I doing here again…?”
At the same time as another sealed memory was born for Oomori, another problem occurred for Nariyuki, but that is a story for another time.
